Spellbinders Stitched For you Card

Hey card making friends, welcome back. Today I have a Spellbinders Stitched for you Card. It’s created with the May Large Die of the Month club kit which is absolutely full of fabulous dies to create sentiments for cards. There is a large set for the word you and then a pile of smaller ones to help personalize your cards.

For today’s card I chose not to use the second ones but instead one of the sentiments from the May Glimmer of the Month set and the Be Bold Blooms etched dies set which is my current flower favorite, LOL. However, we all know that changes with new releases LOL.

Creating the Spellbinders Stitched for You Card:

Start by embossing the Teal Topaz card front with this month’s Embossing Folder of the month “Faux Stitched”, after that, attach it to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Next, cut the You from thick white cardstock (I use hammermill) and stitch the flowers with pink embroidery cotton.

Finally, use the Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies to create the flowers and leaves. Use Spellbinders card stock in: Saffron, Rainforest, Peridot, Dahlia and Black.

Putting it all together:

Start by using foam squares to attach the “you” sentiment to the bottom section of the card.

Next, again with foam squares, start adding the florals

Additionally, tuck the leaves in and around the florals.

Finally, gold foil the smaller sentiment from the May Glimmer of the Month Kit and attach it along the bottom section of the o and u.
