How to create the Tim Holtz Snowflake Rosette Projects.
I created a card and two matching bag tags for my projects today. My Gold Snowflake Rosette is made from brushed gold paper. It’s easiest to make these rosettes with the lightest paper you can find as there is lots of little tiny accordion folds, LOL. I happen to have a bunch of this gold paper in my stash so I was lucky. Lightweight pattern paper also works.
Pro-Tip : I grabbed these clips from my quilting room, and they were perfect for holding the sections together while the glue dried.
Other Uses for the Snowflake Rosettes: Tree decorations, a mantle garland, make them to match the wrapping paper on your holiday gifts, add them to the centerpiece on your table around your candles,

The card:
This A2-sized card features a white card base, a gold mat, and an embossed card front (with a brand-new embossing folder coming soon).
I tucked the Point Pine Sprigs (also coming soon) beneath the rosette and finished the center with the dimensional star die from the Vault Rosettes set to create the bold black star.
The matte black cardstock adds a beautiful contrast against the gold’s shine, giving the card a refined and balanced look.
I absolutely love how this one turned out – quiet, elegant and full of texture.

Christmas Rosette Ornament – Bag Tag:
I’m definitely a matchy-matchy girl when it comes to decorating, and since I’ve been on a black-and-kraft kick lately…..we’re just going to keep that theme going. This piece would look stunning on a black gift bag, and afterward, it would make a beautiful keepsake ornament for the tree.
The background black and white rosette is created using the Vault Rosette Die set, layered with the gold snowflake rosette on top and finished with that fabulous dimensional star (seriously – I’m obsessed with it). A touch of gold cord is the perfect finishing accent.

Tag #2
If I were to make this one again, I think I would cut the scalloped circle in black instead of white. Bailey was busy trying to eat our baseboards while I was crafting, so let’s just say my attention was…divided, LOL.
The design follows the same layout as the first tag, but this time I used a flat base cut with the Scalloped Die Set.
The Pine Sprigs in the background are from the new Pointy Pine Sprigs Die set – Coming this Friday with the official DieCember® launce.
