Hero Arts Flower Girls

Hey card making friends and welcome back.  My share today is Hero Arts Flower Girls.  The two stamps I used are part of the Add On’s for the January My Monthly Hero Release (links at the end of this post).

I know many of you have just received your kits and I wasn’t quite ready to be finished creating with this one yet LOL.  So, here’s more inspiration for you combining the Flower Girls and the Chocolate Candy Cling.  This is also for the Instagram 28 Days of Hearts.

Steps to creating the Hero Arts Flower Girls Card:

Background:

Place the Chocolate Candy Cling Stamp into the Misti and pick it up with the lid.

Place a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of white cardstock into the base of the Misti.

Next, wipe it with an antistatic brush and ink and stamp with the Embossing and Watermark Ink.  Cover with white embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set.

Finally, use blending brushes to add Reactive Ink in Taffy and Berry Smoothie.  Then color in the hearts with the darkest of the pink Copic Markers.

Wipe with a dry towel to remove any ink sitting on top of the embossing powder.

Attach to a top folding White A2 sized card base.

Coloring the Flower Girl:

Use Hero Arts Intense Black Ink to stamp the girl image onto white cardstock with the Misti.

Once the ink is dry, color the image with Copic Markers:

  • Pinks:  RV10, RV13, RV21
  • Skin:  E000, E00, E02, E93
  • Hair:  E23, E47

Next, cut her out with the coordinating die, add foam square to the back and set aside.

Stamp and cut the sentiment out of the white scrap from the girl and set aside.

Creating the Frame for the Hero Arts Flower Girls Card:

Use the second largest of the Infinity Dies Postage Stamps and the Nesting Rectangles, picking one smaller with the width you would like.

Next, tape them into place with removable tape and run them through the die cut machine.

Add foam strips to the back.

Attach the frame to the card front and then add the little girl and the sentiment.
