Hi card making friends and welcome back.  Today I’m sharing some new stamps, Simon Hurley Easter Bunnies.  Spellbinders has actually released three new Stamp and die sets from Simon and I’ve linked them all below in the thumbnails for you..  I’m playing with the Easter Bunnies today along with a new Spellbinders Glitter Cardstock Spring tone Assorted.  Fun colors and perfect for Easter.

I made 4 cards to share with you today.  It was super easy as there are so many images in these huge stamp sets.  I colored all of the images with Copic Markers but of course you could use your favorite medium.

Copic Colors Used:
Gray:  N1, N3, N5   Brown:  E41, 21, E31, E33, E35, Turquoise:  BG11, BG13, BG49, Pinks:  RV10, RV21, RV13, RV14, Yellows: Y11, Y15, Y17, Oranges:  Y19, Y38, YR04, Blues:  B12, B24, B26, Greens:  YG03, YG17, Purples:  V12, V15, V17.

Simon Hurley Easter Bunnies – Card #1 Slimline.

I started by cutting the front panel using a scalloped Slimline Die, and cut three circles inside that.

Next, I added 3 different colors of the new Glitter cardstock behind before mounting it to a 4 x 9″ top folding card base.

Then, I stamped all the images in copic friendly black ink and colored them.  Next, use the coordinating dies to cut them out

Finally, using small pieces of foam squares, add the images to the card front.  Highlight some spots with a white gel pen.

Simon Hurley Easter Bunnies Card #2

Start by creating a top folding A2 sized card base, 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.  Next cut a piece of the pink glitter cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2 and attach to the card front.

Next, use the Fluted Classics Rectangles dies to cut a white card front and use foam tape to attach it.

Then, Stamp the sentiment on the card front.  On a separate piece of white cardstock, stamp the eggs (2) 3 times each.  Color with the copic markers and cut them out. Attach them with foam tape.

Again, start with a A2 sized white card base.  Next, cut a card front 3-3/4″ x 5′.  Slice some of the glitter cardstock into thin strips and glue across the front of the card.

Next, place the piece into the Misti and stamp the sentiment under the glitter strips.

Then, add the images using foam tape to pop them up.

Finally, highlight with a white gel pen

Simon Hurley Easter Bunnies Card #4

Card pieces are the same as the card above.  this time, cut the glitter cardstock in wide and thin strips and attach on an angle in the top left corner.  Trim and then place into the Misti to stamp the image and the sentiment.

Next, color the images.

Then add highlights with a white gel pen.
