Press Plate and Stencils March Release – New Cardmaking Video

I thought the easiest way to share this new release was with a quick Intro Video.  I walk you through each of the new plates and then show you some samples that I have made with each of them.  These are little teaser sneak peeks as many of these cards are coming in upcoming videos.

Note throughout the samples you will also see samples on the cards of the Classic Sentiments BetterPress plates some are glimmer foiled in Polished Brass and others are glimmer foiled in white.

Scroll down for the video.

Press Plate and Stencils March Release – Abstract Background BetterPress and Stencil

For today’s shares, I’m focusing on the Abstract Background BetterPress Plate and coordinating Stencil set.  I have three cards created with this beautiful set.

Let’s start with the super quick and easy one.  The Abstract Background was glimmer foiled in Polished Brass onto a panel of mint cardstock.  I know for some reason it looks blue in this picture, LOL, I think it’s just the way the light was hitting it from the window when I took this picture.

ANYWAY, I wanted to keep this card super simple as the background was so pretty, so I cut two leaves from the Garden Tweets Die set in gold cardstock and attached them in the bottom right corner.

Over that I added a sentiment using the Classic Sentiments BetterPress plate and die set.  7 sentiments on 1 plate, and the die cuts out all 7 at once – which is so good.

Press Plate and Stencils March Release – Card 2

This time I BetterPressed in Black Ink and left the cardstock attached to the glass top.

Next, I used the stencil and ink blended in Simon Says Stamp Guava, Cantaloupe and Sage.  Once the ink was dry, I pressed it again with the black ink just to refresh it.

Over that, I again used the Garden Tweets dies to add two black leaf stems and the Polished Brass foiled sentiment using the Classic Sentiments Plate/Die set.

Press Plate and Stencils March Release – Card 3

Pretty much the same as Card #2 except this time I black foiled the image and then ink blended over it in Ocean, Amethyst and Earl inks.

I added the sweet penguin from Penguin Love

Ok, Here’s today’s Intro Video giving you a quick look at each of the new products and a couple of samples created with each.  You can watch this card making video over on my YOUTUBE CHANNEL by clicking the image below.  Don’t forget to subscribe to get notified of future video uploads.

  1. Elegant background design for these beautiful cards! It looks fabulous gold foiled on your mint card! Love your multi-color backgrounds too!

  2. Can’t decide which I love the most. Such a striking background and I love all three colour palettes. The little penguin addition is so fun, but then I love the black leaves and of course I always love anything gold and aqua. This is why it’s impossible to chose. Oustanding Sandi!

  3. This is a gorgeous press plate! I love the first card with the gold foil! So awesome that there are also stencils to color these with.
