Products Used in todays Crocus Die Cut Card Idea:
- Fresh Crocus Duo Die Set
Scalloped Arches Nested Dies
A2 Arches Nested Dies - Easter EZ Strips
Blooming Wreath 3D Embossing Folder

How to Create the Crocus Die Cut Card
Create the Card Base:
Use the largest dies from the Scalloped Arches Die Set to cut two pieces from Lilac cardstock. On the back panel, score a line about 1″ down from the top. Add two rows of red line tape above the score line and adhere the front panel to create your card base.
Next, use the A2 Arches Nesting Dies to cut two additional panels—one from Lavender cardstock and a slightly smaller one from white.
Create the Background:
I always like to add a little something-something to my backgrounds for extra depth and interest. Today, I used the Blooming Wreath 3D Embossing Folder, and it fits beautifully inside the arch!
Adhere the white panel to the Lilac panel, then use foam tape to attach the layered piece to the card base.
Create the Crocus Elements:
Die cut the Fresh Crocus Duo twice using Lilac and Green Leaf cardstock.
Lightly ink blend the flowers with Amethyst ink to add depth and shading. Adhere the layers together to form your crocus cluster. Use small foam squares behind the flowers for dimension, and add a dab of white liquid glue at the base of the leaves to secure them in place.
Add the Sentiment:
I didn’t have the exact sentiment I was looking for, so I turned to my Easter EZ Strips. Trim out the “He is risen” sentiment and adhere it across the bottom of the card using foam squares.
💡 PRO TIP:
Ink blending on colored cardstock (like Lilac) is a simple way to add instant dimension without needing multiple shades of cardstock—perfect for quick, elevated die cuts!
I hope you enjoyed today’s crocus die cut card and found a little inspiration for your next project! Be sure to check out the supplies below to recreate this look, and don’t forget to continue along the blog hop for more beautiful ideas and your chance to win!
