Products Used in todays Crocus Die Cut Card Idea:
- Fresh Crocus Duo Die Set
Scalloped Arches Nested Dies
A2 Arches Nested Dies - Easter EZ Strips
Blooming Wreath 3D Embossing Folder

How to Create the Crocus Die Cut Card
Create the Card Base:
Use the largest dies from the Scalloped Arches Die Set to cut two pieces from Lilac cardstock. On the back panel, score a line about 1″ down from the top. Add two rows of red line tape above the score line and adhere the front panel to create your card base.
Next, use the A2 Arches Nesting Dies to cut two additional panels—one from Lavender cardstock and a slightly smaller one from white.
Create the Background:
I always like to add a little something-something to my backgrounds for extra depth and interest. Today, I used the Blooming Wreath 3D Embossing Folder, and it fits beautifully inside the arch!
Adhere the white panel to the Lilac panel, then use foam tape to attach the layered piece to the card base.
Create the Crocus Elements:
Die cut the Fresh Crocus Duo twice using Lilac and Green Leaf cardstock.
Lightly ink blend the flowers with Amethyst ink to add depth and shading. Adhere the layers together to form your crocus cluster. Use small foam squares behind the flowers for dimension, and add a dab of white liquid glue at the base of the leaves to secure them in place.
Add the Sentiment:
I didn’t have the exact sentiment I was looking for, so I turned to my Easter EZ Strips. Trim out the “He is risen” sentiment and adhere it across the bottom of the card using foam squares.
💡 PRO TIP:
Ink blending on colored cardstock (like Lilac) is a simple way to add instant dimension without needing multiple shades of cardstock—perfect for quick, elevated die cuts!
I hope you enjoyed today’s crocus die cut card and found a little inspiration for your next project! Be sure to check out the supplies below to recreate this look, and don’t forget to continue along the blog hop for more beautiful ideas and your chance to win!

gorgeous card!! One I would totally make, its a keeper!
aw, thanks so much Melissa
Girl…..you know exactly what I’m going to say……💜💜💜💜 Gorgeous card and gorgeous purple 💜 Huge hug, lady!
haha, Purple just for you my friend, and thank you, and hugs back
Beautiful card! I love the colors!
thank you Mary
So beautifully Springy! Love the gorgeous Crocus (Croci??) Just perfect!
Your card is very beautiful. I love all of the purple. Makes it look like Spring. Very inspiring. Thank you.
Love this card! These are the colors of the one lonely crocus that showed up this year, looks like the chipmunks missed this one bulb! Thank you for the inspiration
thank you Cindy, at least you had one, we are having snow today, so no little purple heads sticking up around here yet
I don’t even know where to begin to write a comment about your card but I guess my first impression is as good a place as any to start – YOU had me at purple, the purple color grabbed my attention firs and foremost and wouldn’t let me go. Once I had taken in the color I started looking deeper, I LOVE a shaped card and yours is awesome. The new Scalloped Arches dies are perfect for a shaped card, so once I got beyond the stunning purple and the shape I honed in on the extras, the embossed Blooming Wreath panel which served as a wonderful backdrop behind your pieced purple Crocus laying under your sentiment strip. Your card is everything I love in a card, wonderful color, multi-layers, fun shape, lots of interest, you hit all the high notes and your card sings. I LOVE IT !! Thanks so much for sharing another wonderful Sandi piece of art.
aw, Ginger, thank you for your kind comments, they are so appreciated
Wonderful purple Crocus creation.
I always love your cards and this one does not disappoint. Always love your color choices, they just pop!
This is so elegant. Thanks for the tip about inking on colored cardstock. It truly is an elegant shortcut to color depth.

Awesome card!!
Sandi, you have blown me away!
This crocus card…just WOW WOW WOW!!!!
I planned to buy that die…but now I want it NOW!!!!
And the scallop arches, well, I never really thought that I needed them.
But after reviewing all your social media….well, you guessed it. Yup, they are also in my cart!
And yes, I will be following all your card making. THANK YOU for all of your inspiration!
Beautiful card and tutorial.
Love the use of the crocuses!
I LOVE your EASTER card!!! It is so joyful, and makes me really look forward to celebrating our Savior’s resurrection.
This is such a beautiful card design. Love the embossed flower background. It really shows off those beautiful crocus flowers (I finally spotted some in my garden yesterday!). Great card for Easter or for many other occasions with a different sentiment attached.
lovely card in purple – my fav color – lol

Beautiful card, love the lavender color!
