Yes – you read that right! My Monthly Hero from Hero Arts is back…..YAY! I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of the relaunch month, and today I’m sharing my My Monthly Hero Die Cut Postage Box Card. As always, Hero Arts has delivered incredible stamp and die sets that coordinate beautifully and feature fresh, on-trend designs. And we’re kicking things off with one of my very favorite themes – stamps, letters and paper mail magic.

With the return of My Monthly Hero, there are now two exciting subscription options to choose from, and I’ll walk you through both of them at the end of this post so you can pick the one that fits you best.
With this new My Monthly Hero, there are two programs you can subscribe to, and I’m going to detail them at the end of this post for you.

Products used for the My Monthly Hero Die Cut Postage Box Card:
January Subscription:
My Monthly Hero:
Postage Box Die Set
My Monthly Super Hero:
Postage Frame Die Set
Spellbinders Cardstock: Peridot, Rainforest, Beeswax, Coral, Tutu, Waterfall, Teal Topaz, Gold, and Simon Says Stamp Neenah Desert Storm.

How to create the My Monthly Hero Die Cut Postage Box Card:
Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of white cardstock and die-cut the postage stamp style border using the Postage Frame Die set. Use foam tape to adhere this panel to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Waterfall cardstock, then mount the layered piece onto a top-folding, A2 white card base.
Next, die-cut the mailbox and all the coordinating accessories and assemble the pieces with liquid glue. I used gold foil cardstock for the “LETTERS” sign and the decorative corner accents, and white and Neenah Desert Storm cardstock for the rolled-up newspaper.
Adhere the mailbox tot he center of the card, then begin layering the foliage and floral die-cuts so they appear to spill out of the top. Tuck a few pieces around the mailbox – over the newspaper, under the “LETTERS” sign, and beneath the little red-and-white bird – to create a natural, dimensional look.
Finally, die-cut the tiny envelope and heart from the Postage Frame Die Set and slip one corner of the envelope into the slit on the mailbox lid for a sweet finished touch.
