My Monthly Hero Wildflower Card

Hi cardmaking friends – Welcome back!  Today, I’m sharing my third card created with the My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts.  This card features the beautiful Wildflower Stamp and Cut bundle from the My Monthly Super Hero Kit – which, sadly, sold out in record time!  I challenged myself to a one layer card – and I think I did it.

Pink, coral, and yellow flowers with black centers rise from simple green stems on a white background, accented with a bright pink ribbon bow across the lower third and a stamped “Thanks a Bunch” sentiment.

How to create the My Monthly Hero Hoppy Spring Card.

Start with a white A2 top-folding card base.  Cut Tutu cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and adhere it to the card base.
Next, place a white panel 4″ x 5-1/4″ into a Misti.  Stamp the stems randomly across the bottom of the panel in Pearfection Ink.  Then, using three flower heads, stamp them across the top in Zest, Grapefruit, and Peony Ink.  Finally, use Nocturne ink to stamp the flower centers and the sentiment across the stems.

Wrap a piece of ribbon around the panel tying a knot on the right side and trimming the ends before adhering the panel to the card front.   The ribbon is from my stash and I believe I purchased it at Michaels.

DONE – no foam tape, no die cuts, just a pretty card to say thank you.  I have such a hard time making one layer cards – do you?

  1. so pretty! i’m ready for Spring. Love your added touch with the ribbon – mine are in a big box and never get used. I must!
