Hi cardmaking friends – welcome back! Toda is NEW RELEASE day over at Spellbinders today, and I’m starting of with the NEW Simon Hurley Happy Spring release and this Sweet Bunny Die Cut Easter Card. These adorable bunny dies include a variety of poses, making it easy to create playful spring and Easter scenes. Pair them with the amazing new Egg Embossing Folder – which also has a coordinating stencil set – or the HUGE inlaid egg die (I’ll be sharing that one with you tomorrow!).

Products used for the Sweet Bunny Die Cut Easter Card

Step-by-Step Instructions to create the Sweet Bunny Die Cut Easter Card:

Start with a A2-sized white – top-folding card base.

Next, cut a front panel to 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel and secure it to a protected work surface. Using the A2 Masks, ink blend Broken China Distress Oxide Ink on 3 sides of the stencil to create a soft blended background. Attach the finished panel tot he card base using foam tape for added dimension.

Die cut the bunny, flowers, grass and sentiment from White, Tutu, Beeswax, Rainforest and Coral cardstock. Adhere the layers together, then use foam tape or foam squares to attach the elements along the bottom portion of the ink-blended background.

I chose not to add additional embellishments to keep the design clean and simple. If i were to make this card again, I would likely omit the sentiment so it could be used for any spring occasion.
