Christmas in July is a huge thing in our crafting industry will all kinds of new holiday products being released this month. I’m taking a pinterest course and it got me thinking this morning that it would be fun to do a My Top 10 Favorite Christmas Card Makes from the last year. Then I opened a Spellbinders email, and they are having a Christmas In July Sale – well, seems like it was meant to be. So here we go. My Top 10 Favorite Christmas Card Makes.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure
July is the perfect time to start creating your holiday cards. There’s lots of time, with deadline rush, it’s hot outside, so you might be inside with the a/c on, there are lots of new products just released, or dig around in your stash for those “bought but not used” from last season, you know you have some, LOL. And, it just feels good to get them done.
Many of today’s cards are created with Spellbinders Dies, and, as luck would have it, many of them are on sale.

#1 – Sealed For Christmas Cards:
According to Pinterest and Instagram, this wasn’t only my most favorite card from last year, it was yours too.
Super fast and EASY to create, the Sealed For Christmas Cards die are beautiful and cut like butter. The embossing folder used in the background is deeply etched and stunning when you try a three color ink blend, and the wax seal is the perfect final embellishment.

#2 Spellbinders July Embossing Folder Club Cards
Pinterest says this one was a favorite as well. I can see why. I actually used it for many of my Christmas cards last year because it worked up amazingly as a mass producible card. Both of these folders create a beautiful embossed background for your cards providing a big WOW factor without a lot of work. Adorn them with a small grouping of die cuts and a glimmer foil sentiment and you elevate to DOUBLE WOW.

#3 Simon Says Stamp Diecember 2023
I got a little carried away with this card, haha. It all started with the NEW Corner Pine Frame Die which was part of DieCember. Then I dug through my “bought but not yet used pile”, and came up with a huge handful of other Simon Says Stamp Dies. So I added Berry Stems and Layered Songbird. The Joy sentiment is also a die, and the background is embossed with the Pepperberry Bundle Embossing Folder (One of my all time fav’s).

#5 – Simon’s Snow Globes Cards
Of all the releases I did makes for last year, this Spellbinders, Simon’s Snow Globes was by far the most fun. So many elements, and so many choices of little goodies to put inside these adorable snow globes, I spent a very happy day creating these.

#8 – Spellbinders July Embossing Folder Club Cards.
This is a recent post, last week as a matter of fact. I had to include it because it has a beautiful embossed background using the Pinecones and Berries 3D Embossing Folder and the elegant Die Cut overlays are created with the Skating Into the Holidays Die Set. Both are party of the July Monthly Club kits, but next month will become part of the regular stock unless they are sold out.

#9 – Spellbinders Skating into the Holidays Die Cut Card
Another recent post, The Skating Into the Holidays die set are beautiful. Yes, there are very cool dies that make the skates, but you don’t have to use them. There are enough poinsettia and foliage dies that you could do an entire card just in flowers (see #8 card). Also try some new color combos as I have today, it’s fun to change them up.

#10 Scalloped Birdhouse
This is my all time favorite Christmas card. Created with non Christmas dies from Simon Says Stamp on a cold November day, I was trying to get my cards finished and into the mail. I had just received a shipment with the birdhouse die and the greenery and it all just came together into one sweet card.
