Products Used for the Resting Dove Die Cut Christmas Card:
- Resting Dove Pair Die Set S-1049
- Point Pine Springs – S-1094
- Wispy Pine Needle Frame Embossing Folder – from the November release
- Tree Plate Greetings Stamp and Dies – from the November release

How to create the Resting Dove Die Cut Christmas Card:
1 – Create the Card Base:
Start with a top-folding A2-sized white card base. (4-1/4″ x 11″ score and fold at 5-1/2″).
2 – Emboss the Background
Next cut a piece of Audrey Blue cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and emboss it using the Wispy Pine Needle Frame Embossing Folder. Adhere it to the card front.
3 – Add the Pine Sprigs
Next, die-cut the two branches from Green Apple cardstock using the Pointy Pine Sprigs Dies, and glue them across the lower center of the card.
4 – Assemble the Doves
Then, die cut the pair of doves and lightly ink-blend Dew ink onto the wing tips and tails to add soft contrast and depth. layer the dove pieces together and attach them to the card with foam squares for dimension.
5 – Heat-emboss the Sentiment
Finally, white heat emboss a greeting from the Tree Plate Greetings Stamp and Die set and add it to the center top of the card.
6 – Finish with Embellishments
Scatter Moonlit Snow Sequins across the card for a subtle snowy sparkle.

I purchased the Wispy Pine and hope I can get mine to come out so crisp looking as yours. Your card is beautiful. Yes, a blog hop and prizes are fun.

Love the doves, beautiful card
Your card is lovely. I like the dimension it has with the bird. To me it looks like a good card to go with a wedding present. Thank you for the inspiration.
Love the doves with the forest background.
Hi Sandi, I could see those doves being useful for cookie cards too, he he. I’d be throwing white pigment ink across the embossed pine needles and slathering it with snow splatter, lol. I need to learn to be more like you and embrace this classic, elegant style. Lovely!
Cheers from the BC mountainsides, Jerralyn 🌹
Hi Jerralyn: It crossed my mind, you know how I love to splatter, haha, but I wanted this one quietly elegant.
