I have something a little different to share with you today. Simon Says Stamp Easter Bunny Tags. With Easter just around the corner, these are great for attaching to baskets for the littles or the littles at heart. LOL. Like my husband, who loves to get a Purdy’s bunny and bites the ears off first. Do you bite the ears or the tail? Haha.
Anyway, I used many Simon products on these little tags, so let’s jump into the project, shall we?

Products used:
- Bunny – Hoppy Birthday Stamp and Die Set
- Sentiment – Eggstra Special
- Background – Pepita Background
- Tags – Large Tags
- Flowers and Leaves – Hanging Leaf Ring – Yes, I’m still obsessed with this die set, LOL
- Simon Says Stamp Pawsitivly Saturated Inks: Orchid, Sweets, Sprout, and Seafoam for the stamped background.
How to create the Simon Says Stamp Easter Bunny Tags:
Starting with the Hoppy Birthday Mini Stamp Set – This is a two-step stamping set, but it’s super easy because all the little leaves and flowers are all attached on one stamp – this is BRILLIANT. So, ink up the main bunny in your Misti and stamp it onto white cardstock. Take out the bunny stamp and line up the filler stamp (2nd step stamping) over the stamped image, close the Misti lid to secure the stamp, ink it in Sprout Green, and stamp again. This will fill in all the white images at the same time. Then, die cut the little fellow with the coordinating die.
Next, place the large Pepita Background stamp face-up on the paper side of the Misti. Tape a half sheet of cardstock to the lid, 5-1/2″ 8-1/2″. Ink the stamp with Seafoam blue ink, and close the lid to transfer the ink to the paper. I repeated this twice to get a nice, even stamped image.
Die cut the Tags:
Start by using the Simon Says Stamp Large Tags and die cut both tags simultaneously.
NOTE: You will have pattern paper left over for other projects.
NOTE: 2 – If you want to stamp a To: and From: on the back of the tag, do it now because these are pretty 3D.
Next, use foam squares to attach the bunnies to the tags.
Then, add some ribbon through the top hole and tie off with some jute tied in a bow.
Then, use the Hanging Leaf Ring die set to cut the leaves and flowers and attach them around both sides of the bunny.
Finally, using the Eggstra Special Stamp set, stamp the “Easter Greetings” sentiment in VersaMark ink onto scraps of Audrey Blue cardstock. Cover with White Embossing Powder, shake off the excess, and heat set. Trim them and attach them across the tummy of each bunny.
Once everything is attached, use Yellow Stickles to create the flower centres, then set aside to dry for at least half an hour.
