Simon Says Stamp sent me a ton of Easter products in the past two releases, so I have been building like crazy to get ideas to you before Easter, LOL. Bunnies and carrots are all over my work table today, and I’m having so much fun coloring them all. So here is my first card, Simon Says Stamp Argyle Bunny.
Check the bottom of this post for a fun FREE Class from Heidi and Carol at Simon Says Stamp – with more Bunny Love.
The Argyle background is super easy to create with the new Argyle Builder Stencil. It has three layers, lines up perfectly, and makes the perfect background for Sr. Hop-a-long himself. You need to choose 3 colors and grab some ink blending tools.

Products used:
Ear-Resistibly Cute Stamp and Die Set
Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks: Sprout, Tidepool and Surf.
Copic Markers:
Bunny: W0, W1, W3, W5, W9 – pink for ears and chin: R00, R81, R83 Teal bow tie: BG11, BG13
For the darker bunny in the image I used N0, N2, N3, N5 and N7
How to create the Simon Says Stamp Argyle Bunny:
Start with a white top folding A2 sized card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
Next, cut a piece of white 3-3/4″ x 5″, secure to your work surface and stencil with the Argyle Builder Stencil. Once the ink is dry, attach it to the card front.
Then, using a Misti, stamp the bunny onto Hammermill white cardstock and color with copic markers as noted above. Die cut with the coordinating die.
Create the Center Art Piece:
Start by using the Nested Domed Arches Frames dies and cut two, one in Audrey Blue cardstock and one step down in white. Glue them together and place inside the Misti. Lay the bunny head on it for spacing to stamp the sentiment in black at the bottom center of the arches.
Next, attach the arches to the card front with foam squares or Big Momma Foam Tape.
Finally, attach the bunny also with foam squares to add dimension and interest.
