Spellbinders April Club Kick Off

Hi friends, I hope you are having a fabulous weekend.  We are in the pluses, the sun is shining, and the snow is melting, YEAH!.  Today, I’m sharing Spellbinders April Club Kick Off, and I’m starting with my four favorite kits for this month.  The Large Die of the Month, the BetterPress of the Month, the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, and the Embossing Club.  Oh yeah, and I stole some flower dies from the Small Die of the Month Club kit too, LOL

The theme for this month is Stay In Touch, so we have lots of postage, writing, envelopes, and cute images to accompany them, which is perfect for us card makers.

Affiliate links are used throughout this post at no additional cost to you.  This allows me to keep bringing you content.  I appreciate your support.

Ok, on to today’s cards and how I created them

Spellbinders April 2025 Club Kick Off – Large Die of the Month Kit

Supplies Used:

Start with a top folding A2 sized white card base, and add a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Waterfall to it.

Next, cut a piece of Hammermill white cardstock 4′ x 5-1/4″ and embossing it with the Perforated Stamp Edges Embossing Folder (April club), before attaching it to the card front.

Then, die cut the mail box and embellish it before attaching it to the center front of the card.

I decided not to add a sentiment to the front, I loved it as it was.

Spellbinders April 2025 Club Kick Off – BetterPress Club – Postage Edge Expressions.

Again, start with a A2 sized top folding white card base.  To that, attach a black card front 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ inches.

Next, BetterPress the postage Edge plate with the scroll writing plate inside it, ink with Black ink onto a panel of white cardstock.  Once the ink is dry, trim it down as close to the frame as possible before attaching it to the card front.

Then, heat up the glimmer foil machine and white glimmer the sentiments onto a small piece of black cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating dies.

From the Snail Mail Post Die Set, Small Die of the Month for April, use the dies for the Tulips and create a bunch of 3.  Ink blend the colored cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Inks in Sunbeam, Honey, Perfection and Watermelon to add interest and depth to the pieces.

Finally, glue them together and attach them to the left side of the card with foam squares.  Add the sentiment at the bottom and embellish with some black gems.

If you do place an order using my affiliate links (and thank you if you do) – please email me with the $$ amount before tax and shipping, and which company it was placed through, along with your mailing address and I’ll send you a hand made card as my thank you.  [email protected]
The reason I ask for that specific info is the system that tracks the sales only gives us a dollar amount and company name, we do not know who made the sale.

Love your cards as always but I did notice that your sentiment states AT this letter instead of AS this letter.

  2. These cards are gorgeous, Sandi! I LOVE the mail box;
we don’t use snail mail much anymore, only those of
us who send our own handmade cards!!!

  3. I’ve not started on my kits yet!! the mailbox is really cute with the letters and flowers 😍 and the BPOM so sophisticated! your two cards are gorgeous as always Sandi.
