Hey friends, I’m sneaking in another Easter card this morning, Simon Says Stamp carrot Easter Card. I’m using the same stamp set as last time, the Ear-Resistibly Cute stamp and die set from Simon, but this time, I used two of the little stamps and stamped some wallpaper.
This is a super easy technique for coordinating the wallpaper with the stamped images. It’s easy to stamp with the help of a Misti and quick and easy to color with Copic or OLO markers.

Copic Markers Used:
- Carrots: Y17, YR04, YR07,
- Greens: YG03, YG17
- Pinks: R81, R83
PRODUCTS USED:
Bouncy Happy Easter Sentiment Die Set
Audrey Blue Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Vellum paper, Hammermill White Cardstock
How to create the Simon Says Stamp Carrot Easter Card
Start with a piece of Hammermill White Cardstock (I love to copic color on Hammermill), 3-3/4″ x 5″, place inside the Misti and stamp the carrot and flower image multiple times to fill up the card front.
Next, color with the above noted copic markers. Then highlight with a white Sakura Gelly Roll Pen #10.
Then, create a card base from the same white, 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.
Finally, cut a piece of Audrey Blue Cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and attach to the card front. Then add foam tape to the back of the art piece and attach it to the center front of the card.
Adding the Sentiment:
Start by using the Bouncy Happy Easter Die Set, cutting the shadow in vellum and the words in black cardstock.
Glue them together, then cut slim pieces of foam tape to attach to the back behind the black letters.
PRO-TIP – You can see adhesive through vellum, so you have to hide it behind the letters.
Finally, remove the protect covering from the foam tape and secure the sentiment to the card front.
here is another card made with the same stamp set.
