Hi cardmaking friends! I’m not quite finished with Halloween yet, but it’s time to dive into some Holiday cards before the November rush hits – been there a few times, how about you? LOL. Today, I’m sharing a Simon Says Stamp Easy Layered Snowflake Card featuring new goodies from the Sugar and Spice release along with a few old favorites. Products Used for the Simon Says Stamp Easy Layered Snowflake Card:
- Patchwork Stencil
- Label Slide Christmas Stamp Set
- Modern Teardrops Dies
- Cheery Snowflakes Embossing Folder
- Crystal Stickles

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Easy Layered Snowflake Card:
1 – Create the card base
Start with a top-folding A2-sized white card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2.
Next, cut another panel of white cardstock measuring 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, emboss it with the Cheery Snowflakes Embossing Folder, and adhere it to the card front.
Then, using your fingertip, lightly rub the Crystal Stickles over the raised snowflakes to add a soft, glittery shimmer.
2 – Create the Art Piece
Die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Modern Teardrops die, (3rd from largest).
Place the die-cut on your Craft Tacky Mat and blend Seafoam and Surf Ink through the two larger Patchwork Stencils to create the background pattern.
Next, die cut the Willow Snowflake twice from white glimmer paper, layer and glue them together for extra dimension, and adhere to the center of the stenciled patchwork.
Finish by using foam tape to attach the teardrop-shaped art piece to the center of the card base.

3 – Create the Sentiment
Start by ink blending a scrap of white cardstock using one of the same ink colors from your patchwork background.
Once the ink is completely dry, white heat emboss a sentiment from the Label Slide Christmas Stamp Set.
Then, trim the sentiment strip to size and attach it to the center of the snowflake using foam squares for added dimension.
Finishing Touches:
And that’s it – your Easy Layered Snowflake Card is complete! This design is perfect for holiday mass production since it combines quick stenciling with just a touch of shimmer and dimension. Try witching up the ink colors for a whole set of coordinating cards in your favorite winter palette-soft aqua,s ice blues, or even festive reds and greens!
