Hi friends! Today I’m sharing Spellbinders Sharon’s Scissors Die Set in celebration of World Fussy Cutting Day – a special day created in honor of Sharon Klima, whose love for cardmaking and the crafting community continues to inspire so many of us.
This day is about more than paper and scissors: it’s about celebrating creativity, friendship, and raising awareness for heart health. Let’s take a moment to slow down, create something beautiful, and take care of ourselves – and our hearts – just as Sharon would have wanted.

Supplies used for Spellbinders Sharon’s Scissors Card:

Step-by-Step instructions on how to create the Spellbinders Sharon’s Scissors Card:
This is a super simple card design that comes together in just a few minutes thanks to two fabulous die sets from Spellbinders. I did challenge myself to use a new color combo, so here is pink and orange, LOL, way outside my comfort level.
1 – Create the Card Base
Cut a white A2 sized card base measuring: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score and fold at 4-1/4″ – for a side fold.
Next, use the Bow and Bell Scallop Frame die set to cut three layers from Coral, Blush, and White cardstock. These dies create beautifully rounded corners and delicate stitching adding subtle detail without any extra effort.
Adhere the scalloped edge frame directly to the card base, then use foam tape to layer the pink and white panels on top for added depth and Dimension.
2 – Die cut the Scissors and Sentiment
Use the Spellbinders Sharon’s Scissors die set to create the two pairs of scissors and the sentiment pieces. Assemble and glue the die cuts together, then use skinny foam strips to attach them to the card front for a little lift and shadow.
3 – Take care of yourself
Take a moment today to relax and enjoy some crafting – whether it’s solo or with friends. And don’t forget to give your heart a little love too with some movement or fresh air (something I’m not always great at when I get completely absorbed in making cards!).
