Hi cardmaking friends. I’m back this morning with a cheerful Simon Says Stamp Groovy Flower Thank You card featuring more new goodies from the Happy Camper release. This design is all die-cut using the Groovy Flowers and Showboat Thank You dies layered over a background stamped with the Thank You Text background stamp (originally released in May). It’s a simple yet effective way to add subtle “background noise” to your projects without adding extra bulk. For a different look, you could also swap it out for an embossed panel to bring in more texture.

Products used for the Simon Says Stamp Groovy Flower Thank You Card:

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Groovy Flower Thank You card.

Start by cutting a piece of Green Apple cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and adhering it to a top-folding A2 sized white card base.

Next, cut a panel of Audrey Blue cardstock to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Stamp it with the Thank you Text Background stamp and the Surf Ink, then attach the panel to the card front.

Then, die cut a selection of all three sizes of the Groovy Flower using Cotton Candy Pink for the petals, yellow for the stamens and Green Apple for the flower centers. After assembling the flowers, add foam squares to the back of each one for dimension.

Adding the Sentiment:

Die cut the Showboat Thank you sentiment from white cardstock and cut the shadow layer from Green Apple cardstock.

Next, stack the two pieces, adhere them together, and attach the sentiment to the center of the card using foam squares for dimension.

Finally, arrange and adhere all the flowers around the sentiment, spacing them evenly across the card front.
