Hi crafty friends! Welcome back! Today I’m excited to share a brand new design – the Simon Says Stamp Joy and Cheer Holiday Card. This festive project features three coordinating products from last night’s NEW SUGAR AND SPICE RELEASE: the Candy Cane Plate for the background, the Ho Ho Holidays Greens die set for the layered foliage, and the Joy and Cheer Sentiment set for a bold holiday greeting.
These dies work beautifully together to create a cohesive holiday card, but each one also shines on it’s own – perfect for mixing and matching in all your Christmas cardmaking projects.

Products used for the Simon Says Stamp Joy and Cheer Holiday Card:
- Candy Cane background plate
- Joy and Cheer Sentiment dies
- Ho Ho Holiday Greens Die Set
- Lilac Pawsitively Dazzling Gems

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Joy and Cheer Holiday Card:
1 – Create the Card Base:
Start with a white, a2- sized top folding card base (4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″).
Adhere a piece of Cotton Candy cardstock measuring to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2 to the front.
2 – Add the Background:
Next, cut another piece of white cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and die-cut it with the Candy Cane Plate. Layer and adhere it over the pink panel to create a crips and clean candy cane-inspired background in soft pink and white.
3 – Build the Foliage Cluster
Then, use the Ho Ho Holiday Greens die set and cut a mix of foliage in light and dark green cardstock, along with berries in pink and burgundy.
Arrange and glue the die cuts into a festive bouquet in the bottom right corner of the card front.
4 – Add the Sentiment:
Finally, die-cut the Joy and Cheer Sentiment and its shadow also in white and pink cardstock.
Adhere the layers together, then attach the completed sentiment over the foliage using foam squares to add dimension and depth.
PRO-TIP; Simon Says Stamp also offers precut and pre-scored A2 card bases in Cotton Candy – along with matching envelopes – to help speed up your cardmaking process and delivery your beautiful creations in style.
