Products used to create the Simon Says Stamp Koala-Ty Birthday Card:
Koala-Ty Birthday Stamp and Die Set
Sprout Pawsitively Dazzling Gems
Mix and Match Circles Stencil.

Instructions to create the Simon Says Stamp Koala-Ty Birthday Card.
1 – Create the card base:
Start by cutting a piece of white cardstock to 5″ x 10″ and score it at 5″ to create a square card base.
Next, cut a 5″ x 5″ panel of Peridot cardstock and adhere it to the front of the card base for a vibrant background layer.
Then, cut two additional panels, – one white and one green – each measuring 4-3/4″ square. Use scalloped circle dies #4 and #5 to cut matching circular windows.
PRO-TIP – Cut the white panel first, then use it as a placement guide when cutting the green panel to ensure both layers align perfectly.
2 – Stencil the background:
Then, die cut one more white panel (4-3/4″ square) and use the Mix and Match Circles Stencil to ink blend the background with Pearfection Pawsitively Saturated Ink for a playful pop of color.
Finally, use foam strips between the cardstock layers to create depth and dimension as you assemble the scalloped pieces onto the card base.

3 – Creating the art pieces:
Stamp the images onto Hammermill white cardstock using Memento Black Ink, then color them with Copic Markers for a soft cheerful look.
- Copic Markers Used:
Browns: E40, E43, E44, R20 for the cheeks. - Pinks: RV10, RV21, RV14,
- Greens: YG01, YG25, G94
Next, die cut the images with the coordinating dies and use foam squares to attach them to the bottom right corner of the card front for added dimension.
PRO-TIP – Stamp and color the images twice so you can fussy cut extra elements like the party hats and cupcake. Layering these pieces top left and bottom right on the card for added color and a celebration feel to the card.
4 – Add the Sentiment:
Finally, stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment with VersaFine Clair Nocturn ink onto a scrap of white cardstock. Die cut it and adhere it to the top left corner of the card. Add the large party hat above the sentiment for a playful finishing touch.
Complete the card with a sprinkle of Sprout Pawsitively Dazzling Gems to bring a hint of sparkle and shine.

Such a wonderful birthday card!
What a bright, colorful and FUN birthday card. Who doesn’t love a cute little Koala? I most certainly do. As per always your coloring knocked those sweet little Koala’s and all the other colored elements out of the park. I loved your usage of the two layers of die cut scalloped circles layered over top of the bright stenciled background, both the stenciled background and the layered scalloped circles mixed together created a perfect transition from the square cut card to your focal images. This is a delightful card.
