Hi card making friends, and happy weekend to you. I’m back today with a Simon Says Stamp Out of This World Birthday card to share with you. My Copic markers were still out from coloring earlier in the week, it was the perfect excuse to dive in again and play with two more adorable stamp sets from the recent Happy Camper release at Simon. For this design, I combined the Out of this World and Shoot for the Moon sets to create a playful space-themed birthday card.

Step-by-Step Instructions for the Simon Says Stamp Out of This World Birthday Card.
This card was super easy to create and didn’t take any time at all, I hope you enjoy creating it as much as I did, these little alien dudes kept me smiling the entire time I was coloring them!
Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Hammermill white cardstock. Ink Blend a bright yellow up in the top right corner to create a glowing highlight.
Next, blend Surf ink over the rest of the panel, then deepen the edges with Ocean ink and finishing with Royal around the outer border to frame the background. Attach this panel to a top folding A2-sized white card base.
Then, on a separate quarter sheet of Hammermill white cardstock, stamp the images with Memento Black Ink (Copic friendly), Color them with Copic markers, then cut them out using the coordinating dies.
Copic Markers Used:
Yellow: Y11, Y15, Y19, Purple: V12,V15, V17, Greens: YG01, YG06 Teal: G00, BG11, BG 13

Add some White Heat Embossed Elements:
Start by placing the card front into the Misti. Arrange the colored pieces roughly where you want them to go, then position the sentiment and star stamps. White heat emboss the sentiment and stars onto the card front, and emboss three more small stars around the moon and larger star for added detail.
Next, adhere the card front to the card base. Use foam squares to add the art pieces giving the design extra dept and dimension.
TIP: For a fun surprise, add one of the adorable little aliens inside the card too!
