Simon Says Stamp Spooky Vibes | WELCOME TO STAMPTEMBER

GOOD EEVENING! (insert COUNT DRACULA voice, haha),  and welcome to Simon Says Stamp 16th STAMPtember.  It’s going to be a fun-filled month, packed with fall, and Halloween vibes, exclusive collaboration stamp/die sets, and a cauldron full of spooky fun.

You can view the entire STAMPtember release HERE

I’m kicking things off with a Simon Says Stamp Spooky Vibes card featuring some of the brand-new release products from Simon.  For this card, I combined the Halloween Basics Stamp Set, the Twisted Tree Arch Die (LOVE this one!), and the absolutely adorable Costume Ghost Parade Die Set.  To set the scene, I created a quick spooky ink-blended background for a perfect Halloween midnight sky.

Handmade Halloween card featuring Simon Says Stamp products. The background is an ink-blended midnight sky in blue, green, purple, and yellow tones with white splatter stars. A black die-cut Twisted Tree Arch frames the scene. Inside, the sentiment “spooky vibes” from the Halloween Basics Stamp Set is stamped in black. At the bottom, four cute die-cut ghosts from the Costume Ghost Parade Die Set are dressed in Halloween outfits—a witch with a pumpkin bucket, a mummy, a vampire, and a pirate.

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Spooky Vibes Card:

Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ panel of white cardstock and ink blend it using Zest, Surf, Iris, Ocean and Royal Pawsitively Saturated Inks.  Place the panel inside a splat box and flick on Pawsitively Perfect White Splatter Medium for stars.  Once the panel is dry, attach it to a top folding A2-sized white card base.

Next, die cut the Twisted Tree Arch from a quarter sheet of black cardstock and attach it to the center of the card front.

Then, die-cut the four ghosts from the Costume Ghost Parade, assemble the pieces,  and an use foam squares to attach them along the bottom of the card.  Add the little jack-o-‘lantern treat bucket for a playful touch.

Finally, place the card into the Misti and stamp the “SPOOKY VIBES” sentiment in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink to finish the design.
