I’m so excited to join today’s Blog Hop featuring the brand-new Simon Says Stamp exclusive dies! These coordinating dies are designed to pair perfectly with six previously released fall and Halloween stamp sets by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous, making it easier to bring your spooky creations to life. For my projects, I’m sharing cards created with the Halloween Doodles and Pumpkin Head sets, and you can view the entire release here.

Simon Says Stamp Tim Holtz Halloween Coordinating Dies and Blog Hop – Card 1
Start by stamping the ghost and witch hat from the Halloween Doodles Stamp Set onto a piece of Hammermill White cardstock using Memento Black Ink.
Next, color the images with Copic Markers—use shades N0–N10 for the ghost and hat details, and V12, V15, and V17 to blend the hat band.
Finally, die cut the images with the NEW Halloween Doodles Coordinating Dies for a crisp, finished look.

Create The background.
Start with a piece of watercolor paper cut to 3-3/4″ x 5″. Spritz both sides with water to help it lay flat on your protected work surface.
Next, spray the panel with Distress Oxide Sprays in Wilted Violet and Prize Ribbon, then set it aside to dry.
Once dry, use the Harlequin Stencil to add diamond patterns across the background. Stamp the tree image from the Sketch Manor Stamp Set along the left edge and the branch along the right edge using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.
Place the panel inside a Splat Box and flick on both black and white paint splatters for added texture. After it’s fully dry, layer it onto a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of black cardstock, then adhere to a top-folding A2 white card base.
Finish the card by attaching the ghost and hat with foam squares for dimension, and white heat emboss a sentiment from the Halloween Sketchbook Stamp Set onto black cardstock for the bottom right corner.

Simon Says Stamp Tim Holtz Halloween Coordinating Dies and Blog Hop – Card 2
This slimline card begins with a card base measuring 7″ x 8-1/2″, scored and folded at 3-1/2″. Add a black mat cut to 3-1/4″ x 8-1/4″.
For the card front, cut a piece of watercolor paper to 3″ x 8″. Spritz it lightly with water, then spray with Distress Oxide Inks in Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Prize Ribbon, Wilted Violet, and Blueprint Sketch. Once dry, over stamp the panel with the Ledger Script Stamp Set in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink before adhering it to the card base.
Next, stamp and die cut a variety of pumpkins from a rainbow of scrap papers using the NEW Pumpkin Head Coordinating Dies.
To finish, arrange the pumpkins in a row across the card front, popping them up with foam squares for dimension. Add splatters with Pawsitively Perfect White Splatter Medium, then complete the design with a white heat-embossed sentiment on black cardstock.
