Hi cardmaking friends – welcome back!
I’m beyond excited because it’s Beautiful Moments Release Day at Simon Says Stamp! This release is absolutely packed with stunning products, and narrowing it down to just one to play with first was no easy task.

You can view the entire Beautiful Moments Release HERE
But, the moment I saw the Watercolor Wildflower Bucket die set, my heart skipped a beat – it’s simply beautiful. I already had my watercolors out from our Friday afternoon watercolor play date (with a sweet friend!), so I couldn’t resist diving in for a little messy, creative fun.
I hope you love this soft, painterly project as much as I loved creating it!

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Watercolor Wildflower Bucket Card.
Start by die cutting all of the elements from the Watercolor Wildflower Bucket die set. Lay the pieces onto your Crafty Tacky Mat and watercolor them. Once everything is completely dry, assemble the bucket first, then begin filling it with the flowers. Be sure to set aside one bloom and a few leaves to tuck behind the bucket for added depth and dimension.
Next, use the NEW Nested Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies to die cut a panel from watercolor paper. Add a soft wash of blues and greens tot he background, then paint a light grey horizontal line near the bottom to ground the bucket.
PRO-TIP – These Nested Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies are incredibly versatile. Not only do they add stitched detailing to the inner panel, but they also create a stitched detail on the outer frame – giving you two finished pieces with one pass through your die-cutting machine. A total must-have for your stash!
While your background panel is drying, create a top-folding A2 sized white card base. Adhere a Fog cardstock panel cut to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ to the front, then attach the watercolor panel on top.
Finally, use foam squares to pop up the flower bucket, the partially hidden bloom and leaves behind it, and finish with a sentiment from the NEW Reverse Beautiful Friend EZ Strips (I absolutely love these – they make finishing a card so easy and polished!).
