Hey card-making friends! Today I’m excited to share a new project featuring the Spellbinders Beyond the Door die set from the La Dolce Vita release. This stunning die set is packed with thoughtful details—everything from a tiny cloud die for the window scene, to floral elements for the potted plants, and beautifully cascading foliage that layers seamlessly. It also includes one of the most detailed and versatile window and door dies I’ve seen in any release, making it perfect for creating dimensional, scene-building cards.

Products Used for the Spellbinders Beyond the Door Card

How to create the Spellbinders Beyond the Door Greeting Card.

Start with a White top-folding A2-sized white card base. To this, attach a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Teal Topaz card front.

Next, cut a piece of white 4″ x 5-1/4″, emboss it with the Faceted Petals embossing folder and center it on the card front.

Then, use the Beyond the Door Die set to create the window, the view, and then the foreground with the plant pots and cascading vines.

Next, layer all the pieces and then attach the unit to the card front with foam squares for further dimension.

Finally, BetterPress the sentiment in black ink onto white paper with the La Dolce Vita Sentiments set. Attach it to the right side of the card.
