Hi cardmaking friends! I’m back with another festive project – the Spellbinders Made with Snowflakes | BetterPress Card from the October 2025 BetterPress Club. This month’s plate features a playful repeating pattern of vintage snowmen, each donning a classic red and white Santa hat. By keeping the coloring minimal and focusing only on the hats, the design captures a retro, old-school Christmas vibe that’s both charming and timeless.

Products used for the Spellbinders Made with Snowflakes | BetterPress Card.
- Made with Snowflakes – October BetterPress Club
- Peppermint Prancer – October Stitched Club (for the holly on either side of the sentiment).
- #10 White Gel Pen

How to create the Spellbinders Made with Snowflakes | BetterPress Card
Start by pressing the sentiment into the bottom of a 4-1/4″ x 5- 1/2″ panel of Seaside cardstock using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Black Ink
Next, press the snowman BetterPress Plate onto another piece of Seaside cardstock measuring 4″ x 4-1/2″ with the same ink. Once the impression is dry, color the Santa hats with a Tombow Dual Brush Marker #856 (Red) and add highlights to the hat trim and pom-pom using a #10 white gel pen.

Putting it together:
Create a white A2-sized top folding card base measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.
Next, adhere the sentiment panel directly to the card front. Then, use foam tape to attach the snowman panel above it, leaving a 1/4″ border along the top and sides for even spacing.
Die-cut the holly leaves using the Peppermint Prancer Stitched Die of the Month (October Club) and add one holly accent to each side of the sentiment for a festive finishing touch.
This design is super flat and easy to assemble, making it perfect for mass-producing holiday cards.
