Hi friends! I’m back with another beautiful Club Card to share. Spellbinders Snow Day Friends features the October Small Die of the Month – “Snow Day Friends”. I paired it with the Glimmer of the Month – “Magic Wonderland” to create the snowy night sky, and finished it off with a sentiment from the To You and Yours Clear Stamp and Die Set for October.

The Snow Day Friends die set includes so many adorable pieces – like two playful children enjoying the snow – but for this card, I imagined the moment after their fun-filled day, when they’re all tucked in and dreaming cozy dreams. So I built a peaceful winter scene featuring a snowman under a starry glimmer-foiled sky.

Step-by-Step instructions to create the Spellbinders Snow Day Friends Card.

Create the Background:

Start with a panel of black cardstock cut to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Use white Glimmer foil and the Magical Wonderland Glimmer Plate to add the snowy night background. Once foiled, adhere the panel toa a folding A2-sized white card base.

Die Cut the Elements:

Next, using the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month kit – “Snow Day Friends”, die cut the snow covered tree, snowman, and a snowy hill for the bottom of the card.

Assemble the Scene:

Then, attach the snow hill along the bottom edge of the card front. Stamp the sentiment in the lower left corner using black ink.

Assemble the tree and snowman pieces, then adhere them to the card front with foam squares for added dimension.

Design Tip:

This is a quick and easy holiday card, perfect for mass production. For an even simpler version, skip the snowman – just the foiled background and tree make a stunning, peaceful winter scene.
