Over the weekend, I dove into the Spellbinders November Club Kits, and oh my goodness – this month is pure joy. Think doggies with attitude, girl-power energy, and friendship vibes, all wrapped up in dies, stamps, stitching, BetterPress, and texture galore.
I mixed and matched several of the clubs – stitching, BetterPress, the Clear Stamp and Die, the Stencil and the 3D Embossing Folder – and crafted my way to two pup-themed cards that are equal parts cute and stylish. One of them even features a sweet little chihuahua-style pup colored to look just like our Lil’ Miss Bailey (even if she is a Corgi, haha), because of course she needed her crafting debut!
If you’re a fan of whimsical characters, cozy textures, and dogs that steal the spotlight, you’re going to love these.

Products Used for the Walkies & Warm Hugs Doggy in the purse card:
- Stitched Die of the Month – November 2025 – Fur-Ever Fabulous
- BetterPress of the Month – November 2025 – Paws in the City – Sentiment
- Stencil of the Month – November 2025 – Cherry Chic
- 3D Embossing Folder of the Month – November 2025 – Petite Tuft
- Clear Stamp and Die of the Month – November 2025 – Go To Girl

How to create the Walkies & Warm Hugs Card #1
1 – Stitch Up That Stylish Pup Purse
Start by die cutting the purse pieces from Teal Topaz cardstock.
Grab your needle and gold DMC thread and add those sweet quilted stitches – this purse has designer doggie energy.
Once stitched, die-cut the solid background, glue the two layers together and let it dry.
While you wait, assemble the handle with gold hardware accents (you know ….luxury walkies only).
2 – Build Your Best Furry Friend
Die-cut the pup from white cardstock and gently ink blend with Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide to give her that warm Bailey glow.
Because our girl Bailey is a fashion icon, she wears a bright pink harness – so her seater gets cut from Tutu and Dahlia cardstock.
Glue her all together and tuck her adorably into the purse. (She’s ready for brunch and a boutique stroll).

3 – Create the card base (a Cozy Little Scene)
Cut a top-folding A2 card base (4-1/4″ x 11″ score and fold at 5-1/2″).
Layer a black panel 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ over the card front for contrast.
Next, cut a panel of Dahlia cardstock to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and emboss it with the Petite Tuft Embossing Folder.
PRO-TIP – lightly spritz the panel with water before embossing for maximum pillowy dimension.
Adhere the embossed panel tot he card base.
4 – Add the Sentiment and Sparkle
Use the Paws In the City BetterPress club set to foil your sentiment in gold on black cardstock.
Die-cut the sentiments and choose one to attach to your card with foam squares.
Pop the purse and pup on with foam as well for extra lift.
Finish with a sprinkle of Fashion Jet Self-Adhesive Embellishments because every stylish dog needs a little sparkle.

How to create the Walkies & Warm Hugs Card #2
1 – create the card base:
Start with a classic A2-sized white card base – it’s the perfect stage for our stylish stroll!
Add a 4″ x 5-1/4″ black cardstock panel for a touch of drama.
Next, place a piece of white cardstock trimmed to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ onto your craft tacky mat and stencil away using the Cherry Chic November Stencil of the Month.
Ink Used: Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated: Limelicious, Pearfection, Bubblegum, Carnation, Sweets and Taffy. A sweet, sherbet-inspired combo that’s positively paw-some!
Once the ink has dried, attach the stenciled panel to the card front, and stamp your sentiment below the image in crisp black ink.
2 – Stamp the Go To Girl:
Stamp the Go To Girl in Memento Black Ink – she’s ready to strut her stuff with her tiny four-legged companion!
Color her up using these copic Markers:
- Pinks: RV21, RV13, RV02, RV25,
- Skin and Pup: E50, E51, E21, E11,
- Hair E50, E53, E55.
Next, use the two smaller scallop frames from the Lisa Horton Bow and Bell collection to die cut the image and a Tutu-colored mat layer.
Adhere the two layers together, then pop them up with foam tape for extra dimension – because every brunch date deserves a little lift!
PRO-TIP:
Switch up her outfit colors to match your own brunch style! A sunny yellow beret or minty green handbag could make the cutie look runway-ready.
