Hi Crafty Friends, welcome back!
Today I’m sharing a bright and beautiful floral card featuring the gorgeous Wild Rose stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and vibrant watercoloring with Karin Markers. These bold pink florals and teal leaves create such a fresh and artistic handmade card design!
If you love easy watercolor techniques, floral cardmaking ideas, and colorful handmade cards, be sure to check out the video tutorial below where I’ll show you exactly how I created this card step-by-step.
You also might recognize this card -I shared a similar version using the other stamp from this set about a week ago, and so many of you asked for a video tutorial….so here it is!
Also, our sweet Miss Bailey (the corgi) had her spay surgery last Thursday, so we’re officially on nurse duty for the next couple of weeks while she recovers. So if I happen to miss a post or two, you’ll know why.

About the technique:
Today I’m sharing my version of a fun “drop and run” watercolor technique using Karin Markers. Years ago, I had a gorgeous rose bush called Joseph’s Coat with stunning variegated blooms, and these flowers were inspired by those beautiful colors.

This easy watercolor technique creates vibrant, artistic florals for your handmade cards with very little effort. Once the watercoloring is complete, I walk you through finishing the card design step-by-step in today’s video tutorial.
I hope today’s Watercoloring with Karin Markers video inspires you to give this technique a try! Don’t forget to experiment with your favorite color combinations and create your own beautiful watercolor florals Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy cardmaking!

Here are both the cards, if you would like the instructions for last weeks card, it’s in THIS blog post:
