I’m back, and so excited to be sharing my new 3D Eggs and Flowers Felt Decor line from Spellbinders. Today, as promised, it’s the EGGS. So many Eggs, with cute new flower dies to decorate them, and you can use the flower dies to decorate your Fergus’s too (image below). There are all in 1 NEW DIE SET – there are two sizes of eggs and three new flower dies included, and as you can tell, they are quick and oh so much fun to make.

A few details about the 3D Eggs and Flowers Felt Decor Dies
There is a brand-new FeltTube Video where I walk you step by step through creating the teal egg in the top left corner, complete with the daffodil detail. I’ve linked the video below for you.
Each egg is made by cutting four panels and one base, and they only take a few minutes to stitch together. The eggs are lightly stuffed with batting and finished with walnut shells for extra weight so they stand nicely.
The flower dies are quick and easy to cut and stitch onto the finished egg. If you prefer to add your own embroidery, simply stitch the panels first and then sew the egg together.
These felt eggs make the perfect decor accents for tiered trays and pair beautifully with your Easter and Spring Fergus gnomes.

In making these, I found they were great projects for using up all the little bits of felt I have been saving from building different Fergus gnomes.

Check out the orange egg bottom left, and teal egg bottom center, these are the two sizes of eggs in the die set.

I love that you can custom-build eggs to perfectly coordinate with your Spring and Easter Fergus Gnomes. This Fergus is decorated with the new flower dies from the 3D Eggs and Flower Felt Decor Set, along with a few petite blooms from the Autumn & Halloween Embellishments die set for extra detail and charm.

And here’s the back view, where you can see that I used all three flowers not only on his hat, but also across the back of his jacket for extra detail.

Below, you’ll also find my two newest videos: one introducing the new Felt Decor Line, and another showing how to decorate and stitch the eggs together. In these videos, I walk you step by step through both new die sets and share how I used them in my projects.
And if you create your own Fergus or felt eggs, I’d absolutely love to see them! Please share on social media using #fergustheGnome so I can admire your creations and leave a comment.
