Simon Says Stamp The Little Things

Good morning, crafty friends. I have an adorable Simon Says Stamp The Little Things card to share today. With this sweet 6 x 8 stamp and die set, you can mix and match the images to create fun cityscapes. I opted for the two-scooper ice cream-licking bunny sitting on a park bench under a tree. Who doesn’t love a double scoop of chocolate in a waffle cone on a sunny summer day—me, please!

How to create the Simon Says Stamp The Little Things Card.

Start with a top-folding A-2-sized white card base, 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Next, cut a piece of Audrey Blue cardstock 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ and another piece of white 3-3/4″ x 5″.

Place the white piece onto the Craft Tacky Mat, cover with the Mix and Match Circles Stencil, and then use blending brushes to add Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Surf and Spring.  Attach the stenciled panel to the blue panel and then to the card base.

Create the Art Pieces:

Place a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Hammermill white cardstock into the Misti and stamp the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (copic friendly).

Next, color the images with Copic Markers:
Bunny:  T0, T1, T2, Ice Cream: Cherry R24, R46, Pink:  RV10, RV21, RV13, Chocolate:  E35, E57, bench and tree trunk: E42, E43, E55, E57, Tree and grass:  YG03, YG17

Then, cut out the images with the coordinating dies and add foam squares to the back.

Place the card base back into the Misti and place the bench/tree piece in position without attaching it.  Line up a sentiment under it, remove the art piece, and stamp the sentiment in black ink.

PRO-TIP – I like to use VersaFine Claire Nocturne (black) ink for this step.  It’s a super dark juicy ink and great for stamping over previously inked items.

Finally, attach the art pieces to the card front.

I Love Simon Says Stamp brand of ink pads.  They have a foam base, are super inky, and they also sell the complete line of reinkers.
