Spellbinders More July Club Cards

Good morning, crafty friends!
Today I’m excited to share more Spellbinders July Club Cards with you. I’ve been having a blast combining elements from the BetterPress and Glimmer Clubs—yes, I foiled them both! And of course, I couldn’t resist pulling out my favorite from this month’s release: the Large Die of the Month, Mugs & Mittens. I went all in on these two cards—one is clean and simple, while the other is delightfully over the top. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them!

How to create the Spellbinders More July Club Cards #1

This card began with the Glimmer Plate of the Month, which I foiled in white onto black cardstock for a bold and festive background. I mounted the panel to a top-folding A2-sized white card base (4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″).

Next, use the Large Die of the Month set to create the adorable mitten-covered hands holding a cozy mug of hot chocolate, then adhere the layered die cuts to the card front.

To finish it off, add a soft swirl of steam by die-cutting a piece of Ice Vellum—just the right touch of winter magic!

Add the Sentiment:

While the Glimmer Plate of the Month includes a sentiment, I opted to use one from the Clear Stamp and Die Set of the Month, Stay Snuggly, instead. I stamped and die-cut the sentiment, then attached it to the bottom center of the card using foam squares to add a bit of dimension and lift.

Spellbinders More July Club Cards – Card #2

Card #2 begins with foiling the BetterPress plate using the stunning Speckled Prism foil onto Teal Topaz cardstock. The shimmer and sparkle from the foil adds so much glitz that I decided to keep the main elements clean and simple.

Next, I chose the hot chocolate mug and the adorable tiny marshmallow snowman from the Large Die of the Month kit, Mugs & Mittens, and placed him right in the center of the card.

To finish it off, stamp and die-cut a sentiment from the Clear Stamp and Die Set of the Month, Stay Snuggly, and attach it just below the mug using foam squares for added dimension.
