How to create the Warm and Woven Stencil Cards

Start with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Tutu cardstock and secure it to a protected work surface. Using the Warm and Woven Stencil, ink blend Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink over the stencil to create the card front.

Next, adhere the stenciled panel to a white A2 card base (4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″).

Die cut the mugs, cocoa, and snowflakes. Layer the pieces and attach them to the card with foam squares for added depth and dimension. Place a large gem in the center of each snowflake for a touch of sparkle.

Finally, stamp a sentiment from the Stay Snuggly Stamp and Die Set, die-cut it with the coordinating die, and attach it to the right-center of the card using foam squares.

This design would look beautiful in a range of colors, making it perfect for any fall or winter celebration.

Warm & Woven Stencil Card #2

Start by using the remaining three layered stencils to create the winter sweater pattern across the white card front. For the stenciling, use Distress Oxide Inks in Festive Berries, Tumbled Glass, and Cracked Pistachio.

Next, adhere the stenciled panel to a white, top-folding A2-sized card base.

Cut a Wildberry cardstock strip measuring 1-5/8″ x 4-1/4″ and emboss it with the Frosted Stitch Embossing Folder (July 2025 Embossing Folder Club). Wrap gold cord around the strip before adhering it to the center of the card.

Finally, create a wax seal using the Arctic Knit Wax Seal and Laguna Colored Wax. Once cooled, highlight the design with a gold marker and attach the seal over the red band, aligning it with the embossed pattern. Finish by gluing a small gold bow to the center of the seal.

That’s it for today folks.  I just have the stitched club to finish and I’m working on that one tonight so I should have it for you for tomorrow.  You have until July 27th to sign up for this month’s clubs.

  1. Dreamy cards. I didn’t get around to using that stencil this month, but I like it’s pattern. Your colour choices are always spot on Sandi!
