Hey cardmaking friends – welcome back! This is my second post today—phew! Last day of the month and I have to get everything finished up, haha!.
Last week, we used circle dies to spotlight a sentiment, but today we’re switching things up and spotlighting die cut florals instead. This layout is such a fun and versatile way to use smaller dies multiple times to fill a card front–perfect for florals, little critters, or any small images you love.
The die-cut openings frame each floral cluster beautifully, while the repetition of the three circles helps guide your eye across the card, naturally leading to the sentiment in the bottom right corner. It creates a clean, balanced design with plenty of visual interest.
This is one of those super easy cardmaking ideas that delivers a big WOW — and it’s also fantastic for using up your cardstock scraps!
PS, I have officially moved away from Purple Cards for a bit, LOL
Keep reading for all the details on how to create this sweet card.

Products used for the Spotlighting Die Cut Florals Card:
- Simon Says Stamp Delicate Wildflowers
- Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles
- Simon Says Stamp Just a Note
- Simon Says Stamp Halftone Dots Embossing Folder
- Sprout – Pawsitively Dazzling Gems

How to create the Spotlighting Die Cut Florals Card:
Create the Card base:
Cut a panel of Breeze cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and adhere it to the front of a top-folding A2-sized white card base.
Next, cut a panel of Teal Topaz to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and used the Stitched Circles Dies to die-cut three circular openings. Once the circles are cut, place the panel inside the Halftone Dots Embossing Folder and emboss it for added texture.
Attach the embossed panel to the card front, then use sharp scissors to trim away any overhang from the circle openings if needed.
Die Cut the Florals:
Use the Delicate Wildflowers Die Set to cut three sets of florals from Mulberry, Rainforest and Black cardstock. Assemble the flowers, then trim the stems so they fit neatly inside each of the circle openings.

Add the Sentiment:
Use the Just a Note two-layer die set to create the sentiment from Mulberry and Black cardstock. Adhere it to the bottom right corner of the card using foam squares for added dimension.
Embellish the Card:
Finish the card by adding a sprinkle of Sprout Gems inside each circle for a touch of sparkle and visual interest.
