I decided to maintain my Pink, Blue and Green color scheme through this months cards as I like how bright and happy they are together and they remind me of spring.

More Spellbinders April Club Cards – Stitched Club Card

Ok, the main die for this set this month – GENIOUS – I LOVE the notebook top on it.  You also don’t have to stitch the lines, you can draw them in with markers if you would rather.  I like the added texture of the stitching myself.

Start by die cutting the main element and stitching in the lines and margins.  I used DMC #597 for the blue and #3805 for the pink.

Next, create a white A2 sized top folding card base and then add a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Waterfall colored card stock front to it.

Then, die cut all the elements.  I ink blending quite a few of them with Simon Says Stamp Inks in Waterfall, Surf and Ocean.

Finally, using small pieces of foam tape, adhere the elements to the card front.

More Spellbinders April Club Cards – Glimmer

Start by Black Glimmer Foiling a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Hammermill white cardstock.  If you are a member of the Deluxe Caboodle this month, one of your free gifts is the Layered Scattered Letters Stencil that you can use to stencil in the colors on the envelopes.  I did mine in Simon Says Stamp Seafoam, Surf and ocean inks, a light medium and dark in teal.  Attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

While you have the Glimmer Machine warmed up, glimmer the sentiments in white foil onto a scrap of Waterfall cardstock.

Next, cut out one large and two medium envelopes and the pieces to make the seals for the back of them and two of the tulip bunches.  Ink blend the tulips before gluing them together.

Finally, use foam squares to attach the envelopes, sentiment and then the tulips to the card front.

More Spellbinders April Club Cards – Stencil

Card three for today uses the Stencil of the month club which is totally cool with two stencils for the “airmail” border, then a set for the inside envelopes.

I decided to do these on two separate pieces of cardstock so that I could stack them and add some dimension.

Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of white cardstock and use the border stencils and Simon Says Stamp Watermelon and Surf ink to create the border.  Then attach it to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Next, cut a piece of white 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ and stencil it with the envelopes.

Then, cut a mat in the pink 3-3/4″ x 5″ and attach it as the mat behind the card front.  Use foam tape to attach it to the card base.

Finally, to decorate, I cut out little pink hearts to add to the small envelopes (you may note one fell off during the construction of the card and I didn’t notice until well after the photos were taken), LOL, Cut a large envelope and seal and add to the bottom right corner of the card with foam squares.  Then, use the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month set Send and Seal and white emboss a sentiment onto a scrap of the pink cardstock.
